COVID-19 (novel coronavirus)

Inter-club tennis matches resumed on 6 August.
The Club follows COVID-19 South Australia Guidelines for public activities and is guided by advice from Tennis SA (see Tennis SA statement, 13 Aug).

The northern courts (1 to 4) remain open but are subject to restrictions. From 6 p.m., only members of the same household may play together. Please note the Level 5 restrictions for exercise. Matches are expected to resume on the weekend of Friday 6 and Saturday 7 August.

As of 12 Aug, the following activities may take place with some restrictions.

  • All forms of club tennis (matches, practice and social tennis) are able to be played.
  • Coaching is able to take place.
  • People attending the club are required to do a COVID-SAfe Check-In by scanning the club's QR code on their mobile phone.
  • You still need to follow the 1.5 metre physical distancing principle and you must keep to no more than one (1) person per two (2) square metres, i.e. 40 on the verandah and 40 inside the clubrooms (
  • Facemasks are mandatory inside the clubrooms, except for people younger than 12 years or when eating or drinking.
  • Spectators are NOT required to wear facemasks.

The Club has completed a COVID-Safe Plan.

Club operations are now supervised by a COVID Marshal.

Tennis SA has issued guidelines on the safest way to continue playing tennis. The Club expects all people (players, spectators, parents, coaches & volunteers) on site to abide by these guidelines.

About the Club

The club has seven courts located at Miller Reserve, cnr Devereux Rd & Sturdee St, Linden Pk. Four courts are floodlit.

The courts are available for public use when not required by the club's members.

Fundraising and Sponsorship

The Club seeks support from the community to support development of the facilities such as resurfacing of the courts. The courts are used during the daytime and evenings, by people of all ages playing matches, receiving coaching or playing socially. The Club was awarded $51,000 from the Department for Recreation and Sport, to support resurfacing of the courts.
