Summer 2026/27

Team Competitions

Friday evenings (higher divisions) and Saturday mornings (lower divisions), from 16/17 October 2026 until 20/21 March 2027 (no matches 18 December to 23 January). Competitions using low-compression (green or orange balls) are also offered.

Nominations close Wednesday 16 September. Please let Wei Liu (0449 205 708, weiliu94@live.com) know if you wish to nominate. New players will need a Competitive Player Profile (UTR), see Player Registration.

Required information includes;
  • Player's name
  • Player's date of birth
  • Parent's email address
  • Parent's mobile phone number

Children under 15 must now be linked to a parent or guardian account.

If you have an account:

  • Sign in as usual.
  • Link your child via their Tennis ID.

If your child has an account but you don’t:

  • Sign up and create your profile.
  • Link your child via their Tennis ID.

Winter 2026

Friday evenings (higher divisions) and Saturday mornings (lower divisions), minor round from 8/9 May until 28/29 August with finals 4/5 September and 11/12 September.
There are no matches on 5/6 June (King's Birthday), 3/4 July, 10/11 July & 17/18 July (School Holidays).

Nominations closed Sunday 19 April.

Player Registration

Players are required (by Tennis SA) to have a Competitive Player Profile (a Match Centre account linked to a Universal Tennis account). A profile must be created by a player or parent/caregiver. For a child less than 15 years of age, there are a couple of steps.

  1. The parent/caregiver creates a non-playing account. See Getting-Started.pdf.
  2. The parent/caregiver creates a new child profile. See Creating-a-new-child-account.pdf.

A player of 15 years of age or older may create their own account. See Completing-your-CPP.pdf.
A child of 15 years of age or older may have their account converted to an adult account. See Promoting-child-to-adult-account.pdf.

Required information for nomination includes;
  • Player's name

  • Parent's mobile phone number
  • Universal Tennis Rating (UTR)

Winter Information/Registration Meeting

Important: Wednesday 6 May from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Personalised membership forms will be there. If you miss this, please contact Garry. Payments may be made by cash or electronic funds transfer.

Les Tapp inter-association teams event

Players will represent the EDTA in a team of 4-6, where they will have an opportunity to play both doubles and singles against other associations within their age group.

  • Date: Saturday 8 March to Monday 10 March
  • Venue: Woodville Orion Tennis Club (31 Oval Ave, Woodville South)
  • Groups: U10 (under 11, greenball), U12 (under 13), U14 (under 15), Open (under 18) — gender based

Junior Club Tournament

The junior club tournament will be held on the March long weekend, Friday 10th to Sunday 12th March.

EDTA Tournament

The EDTA junior tournament will be held on November 23, 24 & 25 and will replace a round of matches for that weekend. It is now open for online entries.
Participants will need a tournament login which they may already have if they have enter tournaments regularly or which can be obtained via the link for entries. Entry fees can be paid by direct debit to the EDTA Stripe account through the online entry. Alternatively, registration forms are available at the Club.

Club Shirt

For matches, junior players are required to wear a Club shirt. You may continue to wear your old shirt or buy a new one, as shown below. Ordering is currently open.

Please order via the Apelle ordering WWW site. You will be able to collect shirts from the club (no delivery fee).

Test sizes will be available at the Information/Registration meeting. See membership page for details and sizes of men's, women's and youth (kids') shirts. Please order between 13 and 20 October. Once ready, shirts may be collected from the clubrooms.
